ABOUT US

The Storehouse Project exists to share Christ-centered love with individuals experiencing economic challenges by providing practical services, resources and support.

The Storehouse Project started off with one key project--Peret Food Pantry. Founded in 2000 by Pastor Alfred D. Watts, the Peret Food Pantry started as a distribution center where hungry families across the Fairfield and New Haven County areas can receive food, emergency resources and can be connected to our larger network of services. Supplied with food from a food bank, the Peret Food pantry feed hundreds of people per week! Since our inception, we have been blessed to be a blessing to over 5,000 families. The need is great and we are grateful for the opportunity to do our part.

Since those humble beginning, we have since grown into a multi-program organization and in 2016, we incorporated as a 501c3.
