Our History

The Peret Food Pantry is a program of the Storehouse Project that was founded in 2000 by Pastor Alfred D. Watts. It was a distribution center in a 10 x 10 closet where hungry families across the Fairfield and New Haven County areas can receive food, emergency resources and can be connected to our larger

network of services. Supplied with food from a food bank, the Peret Food pantry feed hundreds of people per week! Since our inception, we have been blessed to be a blessing to over 5,000 families. The need is great and we are grateful for the opportunity to do our part.

Our Partners

We could not do this work alone. We are so grateful for all of the partners we have been blessed to work with to improve the lives of individuals and families in our community.
